Insulated double-4 vinyl with crisp white trim — flat, dent-resistant courses down every run.
Insulated siding that took the draft out of a Newtown two-story.
A 1970s two-story with thin, faded vinyl and cold, drafty walls got a full re-side in foam-backed insulated panels — adding roughly R-4, quieting the rooms and laying a flatter, dent-resistant face, finished with fresh custom trim. Installed by our own crew.
From thin, drafty panels to warmer, quieter walls.
The challenge
The home's original builder-grade vinyl was thin, wavy and doing nothing for comfort — the homeowners noticed cold exterior walls in winter, road and wind noise, and a face full of dents and ripples. They wanted a re-side that actually improved how the house felt to live in, not just how it looked.
What we did
We stripped the old vinyl, wrapped the home in a fresh weather-resistant barrier and installed foam-backed insulated double-4 panels in Sandstone. The contoured foam fills the gap behind each panel, adding roughly R-4 of continuous insulation, deadening outside noise and supporting the panel so it lays flat and resists dents. We custom-bent fresh white trim around every opening and finished the eaves with matching soffit and fascia.
The result
Warmer, quieter walls and a crisp, flat exterior that finally looks its age — in the best way. The homeowners reported noticeably less draft along the exterior rooms and a quieter interior, with a low-maintenance face that won't fade, warp or need painting, backed by a long manufacturer warranty.

Insulated siding in Newtown & Lower Bucks County
A lot of Newtown and Bucks County homes from the '60s and '70s were sided in thin builder-grade vinyl over uninsulated walls — fine for looks at first, but cold, noisy and prone to denting over time. Foam-backed insulated siding is one of the few exterior upgrades that improves comfort and curb appeal at once: it adds continuous R-value, quiets the home and lays a flatter, more durable face that resists impacts and warping.
AVI Exteriors is based in Levittown and installs insulated siding across Lower Bucks County and South Jersey — Newtown, Yardley, Langhorne, Richboro, Wrightstown and beyond. Every job is run by our own crews, with permits handled, landscaping protected and careful, quality workmanship on top of the manufacturer coverage. If your walls feel cold or your siding's seen better days, we'd be glad to take a look and give you an honest, fixed quote.
“The difference in the front rooms is real — they're warmer and a lot quieter than before. The new siding looks great too, nice and flat with no waves. AVI's crew was in and out in three days and left the place spotless.”
