New CertainTeed double-4 vinyl in Granite Gray with crisp white trim.
Full-home vinyl re-side that took a tired Levittown rancher back to new.
A 1950s Levittown home with faded, brittle 30-year-old siding got a complete exterior reset — full tear-off down to the sheathing, fresh house wrap, CertainTeed double-4 vinyl, custom-bent trim and matching seamless gutters. Start to finish in three working days, by our own crew.
From brittle, faded panels to a crisp, weather-tight exterior.
The challenge
The original aluminum-and-early-vinyl siding had chalked, cracked and pulled loose in spots after three decades of Bucks County winters. Behind it the crew found tired house wrap, gaps around windows and two areas of soft sheathing where moisture had been getting in. The homeowners wanted a clean, modern look that would hold its color — and they wanted the work done without their yard and landscaping getting torn up.
What we did
We stripped the home to the sheathing, replaced the two soft sections of plywood, then wrapped the whole house in fresh weather-resistant barrier and taped every seam. New CertainTeed Monogram double-4 Dutch-lap vinyl went up clean and square in Granite Gray, with foam backerboard behind it for a flatter face and a little extra insulation. We custom-bent fresh aluminum trim around every window and door, wrapped the fascia, installed ventilated soffit, and finished with color-matched seamless K-style gutters and downspouts.
The result
A 1950s rancher that now reads as a fully refreshed, low-maintenance home — no painting, no rot, and color-through panels built to hold up for decades. The homeowners reported a noticeably quieter, less drafty interior, and the property was left spotless: landscaping protected throughout, every nail and offcut hauled away the same day.

What went into this re-side.
Premium, color-through products installed over a properly prepped wall — the part you don't see is what makes the part you do see last.
CertainTeed Monogram vinyl
Double-4 Dutch-lap panels in Granite Gray — thick, rigid and color-through, backed by a long manufacturer warranty against fading and cracking.
House wrap + foam backer
Full weather-resistant barrier with taped seams, plus contoured foam backerboard for a flatter face, quieter walls and a small R-value bump.
Custom-bent aluminum trim
Fresh fascia capping, J-channel and window wraps bent on-site to match — factory colors that hold for decades and seal out moisture.
Seamless K-style gutters
On-site formed seamless gutters with matching downspouts and proper slope — fewer seams, fewer leaks, color-matched to the new trim.
Vinyl siding replacement in Levittown & Lower Bucks County
Levittown's mid-century Bucks County homes were built fast and similar, which means a lot of them are hitting the same wall at the same time: original or first-replacement siding that's now brittle, faded and letting drafts in. A full-home vinyl re-side is one of the highest-return exterior upgrades you can make here — it resets curb appeal, cuts drafts and ends the painting and patching cycle for good.
AVI Exteriors is based in Levittown and re-sides homes across Lower Bucks County and South Jersey — Bristol, Fairless Hills, Yardley, Newtown, Langhorne, Bensalem and beyond. Every job is run by our own crews, with permits handled, landscaping protected and careful, quality workmanship on top of the manufacturer coverage. If your home looks like the one in this story, we'd be glad to take a look and give you an honest, fixed quote.
“Our house looks brand new. The crew tore off the old siding, found a couple of soft spots we didn't know about and fixed them, and had everything back up in three days. The yard was spotless every single evening — couldn't have asked for a better experience.”
