A smooth-gliding insulated patio door — Low-E tempered glass, sealed and secure.
A sliding patio door replacement that fixed a sticking, drafty back wall in Langhorne.
A heavy, sticking patio door that leaked drafts and barely locked got swapped for a smooth-gliding insulated sliding door — Low-E glass, a clean new track and a secure lockset. Easy to open, sealed tight and far brighter, by our own crew.
From a sticking, drafty slider to a smooth, sealed back wall.
The challenge
The old aluminum patio door had become a daily annoyance — it stuck and screeched on a worn track, dropped cold drafts into the family room, fogged between the panes, and the latch barely caught. The homeowners wanted something that actually glided, sealed tight and locked securely, since it was the main way out to the yard.
What we did
We removed the failing aluminum slider and installed a new insulated vinyl sliding patio door with tempered Low-E, argon-filled glass. The opening was squared, insulated and flashed, and the door set on a fresh, smooth-rolling track so it glides with one hand. A secure latch-style lock replaced the worn hardware, and we finished the interior and exterior trim clean and weather-tight.
The result
A back-wall door that's a pleasure to use again — it glides open with a touch, seals tight against drafts, no longer fogs, and locks securely. The Low-E glass keeps the family room more comfortable and cuts UV fade on the floors and furniture, and the clean new frame brightens the whole wall. Done in a single day.

Patio door replacement in Langhorne & Lower Bucks County
An old aluminum patio slider is one of the most-used and most-neglected doors in the house — and when it starts sticking, fogging and leaking drafts, it's both a daily annoyance and an energy and security weak point. A new insulated sliding door fixes all of it: smooth one-hand operation on a fresh track, a tight seal against drafts, Low-E glass that cuts UV fade, and a lock that actually catches.
AVI Exteriors is based in Levittown and replaces patio, sliding, entry and storm doors across Lower Bucks County and South Jersey — Langhorne, Levittown, Newtown, Feasterville, Bensalem and beyond. Every door is set square, sealed and flashed by our own crews, with careful, quality workmanship on top of the manufacturer coverage. If your patio door sticks or leaks, we'd be glad to take a look and give you an honest, fixed quote.
“Our old slider was a daily fight — it stuck and the cold poured in. The new one glides with one finger and seals up tight, and the family room is noticeably more comfortable. AVI had it swapped out and trimmed in a single day. Great experience.”
